# 10 Online Image Generator

This was fun and so easy to play with!!! I tried the FDToy options and made a mosaic using Lars van de Goor's photos. He has some amazing nature and animal photos. Here is what l came up with so far....

# 9 Finding Feeds

Ok l have spent some time on this exercise...coming back to it a few times..l seem to be interrupted everytime Im doing this exercise!!! So l have spent some more time on it today and have to say the tiitle of this exercise is not very appropriate to the Feedster link because everytime l go to use this one..its not working so onto the next link Topix.net...this site was easy to use but there was so much information on this site!!! l got abit overwhelmed with the information everywhere. It was too busy for me personally. The Google Blog serch was easy to use when it came to looking at Blogs...so l attached the State Library of Victoria in my Bloglines account. It has some great photos of the library. I checked out the Technorati site and this was better set out and easy to use.

# 8 RSS Feeds and Bloglines

This was an interesting task...l found this one a bit challenging and time consuming but must admit was worthwhile doing. Interesting how you can keep up to date with a number of different sites and blogs.

I can see myself using this feature to keep up to date with information like articles and soem peoples blogs etc.

Adding fellow workers blogs was easy to do. But finding sites with RSS was a bit more challenging but at least l now know what that "Orange" symbol is all about!

I will have to come back to this exercise and do more hunting around for sites that Im interested in. I found one persons cool photographes on flickr which was exciting and added his link to my bloglines account. Now im going to go onto the next challenge...wish me luck!!!

# 7 Anything Technology...Lets talk about Facebook

I discovered facebook by friends who l originally emailed to. I had acouple of friends "Inviting" me to their page and declined at first...then l thought let's just check it out and see what happens there!

I was overwhelmed with invitations from so many people...especially people from high school who l thought Id never see again! And l also discovered that other staff at Brimbank Library also spend some of their time there!!! So that was a bit of a laugh...

So more on Facebook. Facebook is abit like blogging...but you are leaving comments on each others "wall" so to speak which is the persons page. All the comments are displayed. You have the option of sending a comment to the person directly by leaving a comment on their "wall" or leaving a comment on their page and all those who are their friends can see what has been written.

Only people who are accepted by the invitation can see all the comments displayed.

It is a fun way communicating with others across the world and with friends even if they just live a few suburbs away...There are many other aspects to Facebook. Like joining certain groups or playing games and challenging other friends with games, questioniares etc. but l have not had the time to get into that part of it.

# 6 Flickr Fun

Ok l have played around abit with flickr and the Trading Card Maker.... it was pretty easy to use.. l also have looked at the FD Toys..but need to have another go at it again....just have to attach my Trading Card..maybe next time....

Ok here is a quick sample of my trading card...will have to have another play around with it later as at the moment the interest connection is slow and is not loading up pages.

Now thats done on to the next task!

# 5 Flickr...

Ive had a play around with Flickr..found some cute pictures especially of little Siberian Husky puppies!!!

Here is a pic of my favourite dogs..hence my name "Sib" for short.....Isn't he just adorable!!!!

Will need to look for some more pics...maybe another time!!! Im begining to enjoy this!!! Its abit like facebook.

# 3 Let's Get Blogging!

Hey everyone!!! I"m finally blogging!!! So here is my first "Post" so to speak...

After a few hiccups...thanks to Christian who has cleared a few things in my head...login names..passwords..using the correct ones!!!

Im a later entry into this bloggin game. Hoping to catch up with the rest of you and learn some more of this stuff...Hoping its not too hard though...Hopefully....
